What information we will collect from you
When you use our products, you are trusting us with your information. We understand this is a big responsibility and work hard to protect your information and put you in control.
We need certain personal information from you to provide you with our products or services. This information is primarily captured and used when you apply for a product or service, make a claim or wish to pay for a product or service online.
We will generally ask for the following types of personal information:
- name, date of birth, gender;
- contact details;
- information relevant to a product or service (e.g. your claims history);
- bank details for payments;
- details of insurance policies you hold or have held; and/or
- sensitive information such as criminal records (where this information is relevant to underwriting an insurance policy or processing a claim).
This information can be collected over the phone, the internet and/or in writing. It is held by us electronically or in hard copy with security measures in place to protect this data.
