Does RideCover replace the need for motor insurance like Comprehensive and Fire and Theft Third Party?

No. RideCover does not replace the need for comprehensive and/or third party insurance for your vehicle.

The insurance RideCover provides is not the same as the cover from your standard motor vehicle comprehensive and/or third party policy or from covers and guarantees provided by rideshare platforms. It also isn't a replacement for any of these. These cover you and your vehicle when you are driving your vehicle for private use.

Rather, RideCover provides additional cover against risks associated with using your vehicle for rideshare services which your standard motor vehicle insurance and platform guarantees may not cover.
